Watch Maintenance
Keep your timepiece running.
Some mechanical watches comprise of at least 130 parts, some of which are mere fractions of a millimeter thick, meticulously aligned to achieve the delicate balance that allows a watch to operate 24 hours a day.
Just as the moving parts in a car necessitate maintenance or replacement by specialized mechanics over time, the intricate physical processes that sustain continuous ticking for years will eventually result in some wear and tear, requiring specific maintenance by expert watchmakers. Different manufacturers recommend different service schedules, with the industry standard being 3-5 years for most brands.
